The Dream House

A couple of weeks back Mrs Bennett gave us the task of picking a piece of writing surrounded around a few different subjects e.g Dream House, Dream Vehicle, Dream Holiday, Dream Menu, Dream Animal e.c.t . I chose to do my dream house. Our objective was to DREAM BIG, use descriptive words, be creative, and just have fun! All of Room 4's end results were outstanding! Here is my writing, I hope you like it.

(P.S As you can tell by this I love animals, A LOT)

You pull up the driveway, a seal water feature in the middle of the circular drive. A humble 2 storey house with pearly white wood panelling lining the exterior. Beyond the double doors with pure gold handles (with 2 pet doors next to it) stands a grand staircase, starting at each end of the room and meeting on the next level. A awe-inspiring guests bedroom with an en suite, a tv, spa, cupcake shoot (to supply you with cupcakes 24/7), and basically anything you need in a room and more! To the other side of the hall lays a living room fit with a cinema tv, popcorn machine, drink machine and many more forms of entertainment.

Through the striking gold encrusted archway under the  staircase is a modern, open plan kitchen, suited with marble counter tops and a magnificent island, not to mention top of the line appliances. Incredible light flows into this room with a mountain top view, onto the pearly blue beach below. A smaller sitting room lays through another glorious archway. No tv is to be seen in this room, instead a cosy fireplace and sitting chairs, the ideal place to cuddle up and read your favourite book.

Outside a gazebo rests, the ultimate place for hosting friends and family for an old style BBQ. Follow the small-scale circular stone paving to the animal nursery, to care for all the baby animals, neighbouring with the animal ward, for all your sick furry friends. Not to mention the humongous retirement village adjacent to this. Beyond the smart fence is paddocks and paddocks full of goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys and horses and of course the llamas and alpacas paddock is separate, just in case they try to spit on the other animals. Every paddock  includes stunning 5 star accommodation, ticking all their needs.

Back to the house we venture into the outside access rodent room, with mice, guinea pigs and many other rodents. Connecting to the rodent room, is one all for reptiles, turtles lizards, skinks and many more animals live in this area (but no snakes, the crazy animal lady hates snakes, spiders and sharks, so you won’t find any of those in this house.  P.S The crazy lady is me.)

How about now we journey up that grand staircase to the second floor. Gorgeous art lines the modern 2nd level. Another guest room is placed to the left of the golden railing. Yet again natural light floods into this space thanks to the posh full size windows. Then to the master bedroom, 3 times the size of your average room, with everything you could dream of, a beautiful squishy and comfortable bed, you’ve heard of the single, king, and queen room, well this room gives you a monarch bed, 5 times bigger than any other bed, and anything you could need, indoor pool, en suite, fireplace, cinema TV, and endless other luxury items.

Across the hall is a swish dogs room, with automatic food dispensers and the most comfortable dog beds, fit for the queen's corgis. Next door is a splendid cats room with a separate room for the litter trays, which have laser technology  to fry the poop so you don’t have to get your hands dirty. Striking verandas come off every room to take in the enchanting ocean view. Then possibly the best room and my personal favourite, the red panda room. 5 sweet red pandas lay next door in a very natural habitat with real trees growing in the room and a forest wallpaper. This room is also equipped with air conditioning to make this room as close to home for the poor orphan red pandas. But no need to worry, Boo, Red, Pabu, Scarlett and Layla are all very friendly and happy (Layla especially loves cuddles).  Bathrooms are located on each floor including toilets of pure golds and a 24 karrot diamond  shower and of course the sink, made of a mix of pink star diamond and the most precious gem of all hope diamond.

But then there is a special surprise in the attic. Let's journey up there together. To get to this room climb up the fold away ladder and through the trapdoor into the stunning, awe-inspiring observatory, perfect for clear nights, to watch the stars.

I hope you enjoyed my house where you can literally reach for the stars and care for all your animals. Just make sure you stock up, because this house is expensive, it comes up to the price of dreaming big. Now enjoy your stay at ‘Reach for the Stars Villa’ and remember to dream big.
