Rugby World Cup Mascot Animation Action

Today I was learning how to make an animation under 50 slides in google slides.
I enjoyed making each scene slightly different than the one before.
I found it challenging to  come up with the story line for my highland cow.
My digital learning object shows that I can make an animation in google slides.
Next time I would change the story line I am following because I am not completely happy with it and would try to make it more creative.

Scotland Mascot

Today I was learning how to make an avatar using google drawings

I enjoyed making the highland hairy cow and being creative with the flag (used as the hat), flower (the thistle) and the mascot, as well as adding my own touches like the kilt.

I found it challenging to find the colour for the hair because you had to be careful not to make it look too red but also capture the redness. As well as using the flag in a creative way because we weren't allowed to use it as the background.

My digital learning object shows that I can use poly line, select colours and be kind of creative.

Next time I would change... nothing, I'm pretty proud of my mascot making skills and I think this highland cow is as perfect as I can make it.

Eels

Last Tuesday Room 4 went to the Hustlers river to visit their long-fin eels. Long-fin eels, which are now endangered, are a species that Room 4 has been studying for our endangered species inquiry.
I really enjoyed this visit because even though I have eels on our farm, they aren't tame so we can't feed them by hand. Even though the eels were friendly, I couldn't help removing my legs from the water as the eels drew nearer, because our untamed eels have come close to biting me a couple of times. It was very entertaining feeding the eels because it nearly turned into a sort of competition as to who could feed the eels and to get the best spots for feeding them. Inspired by our visit to the Hustlers we wrote a series of poems and haikus to describe our experience.
Here is some of my writing...

Lush harakeke lines the banks,
hiding creatures below the still waters,
branches casting gloom-ridden shadows.
Underneath tranquil water lurks a secret,
awaiting a movement above.
Underneath tranquil waters lurks TIMMY THE TOE MUNCHER!!

(P.S The Timmy The Toe Muncher part would make a lot more sense if you could read my other piece of writing.)
